CFP for Care Forum

We are soliciting new work in care theory for four presentation slots at the Care Forum for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Care Forum is an international zoom forum featuring theoretical work from a range of disciplines, including but not limited to: Philosophy, Political science, Gender Studies, History, and Anthropology. Papers are distributed approximately a week in advance of the meeting.

Next year, works in progress will be given priority, but new books will also be considered.

To be considered for a presentation, send a 200 word abstract to Maurice Hamington <maurice4@pdx.edu> by August  1, 2024.

Presentations should include the motivation for the project, followed by the core claims and their defense. Your abstract should specify your disciplinary orientation, as well as whether you are working across disciplines (and which disciplines).

Responses will be sent by early September.
